  My experience is solely based on Listening to the teachings of Pastor Steve Hill on the radio, at 91.3 FM.
  
  I have listened with great attention and been impressed by Mr Hill's generally biblical stands, and his Spirit Filled perspective on a great many subjects. I believe he is a sincere, committed, and Kingdom minded Bible Teacher. I have never disagreed with his teachings on any subjects for over two years of listening.
  
  Until recently.
  
  Mr Hill taught recently (September 2013) and emphatically that once people become Christians, they are born again, united with Christ by the Holy Spirit, which is of course all true. He also taught that we must actively live out our faith in a purposeful way, also true.
  
  But then he taught that all Christians STILL HAVE OUR OLD, SIN NATURE. This is a popular teaching, but that does not make it true. It is ERROR. Since he taught it to thousands by radio, it is appropriate that it be disputed publicly as well. I do not write this in a mean spirited way, but simply by way of correction. I have both a right and an obligation to correct errant teaching, since I know it to be so, and since neither Mr Hill nor I have any 'authority over' any other believer, and since I Corinthians 14 teaches that any man may bring a teaching, but any other man may call it into question if he has scriptural reason to do so. (Only the local church hold 'authority over its members'. If that surprises you, study it out!)
  
  We are partakers of the Divine Nature of God, through Jesus the Messiah, by his Word, the Bible, and the many precious promises in it. We DO NOT HAVE OUR OLD SINFUL NATURE ANY LONGER, as I clearly point out in the three following scriptures. (The only dispute some would raise is that these say 'old man', not 'sinful nature', to which I say, take 15 hours of Koine Greek, or read a variety of translations, and you will see they are the same.)
  
  The Bible clearly teaches 2 Peter 1:3-5
  
  New King James Version (NKJV)
  3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
  
  Furthermore, our Old Man (Old Sin Nature), has been PUT TO DEATH. We only continue in sin because we do not renew our MINDS to the Word of God. When we fix our attention on Jesus and his word, unrighteous habits, practices, and temptations relax their grip and drop away.
  
  Romans 6:6
  knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

  Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds,

  Notice 'you have put off the old man'. It's a choice, not an innate nature any longer! :-) We are FREE!
  
  I wish this church and Mr Hill well, agree with them in very large measure. I know from long experience that as long as people look at their sins, pray about their sins, struggle against their sins, they will live a defeated, shame and guilt ridden life.
  
  When we see that Jesus has made us a new creation, including a new nature, and we focus on Jesus, and not focus on ANYTHING ABOUT US, OR OUR ACTIONS OR FAILURES, we truly do experience the freedom He has already given to us.

  I have going to this church for over a year all I can say, is wow. When I tell you the Holy Spirit is there to greet you each and every time. I thank GOD for Pastor and First Lady Steve & Amelia Hill. And the entire Church family.
